Cablescan has a programme to develop and train each team member, the company encourages feedback / suggestions from all team members the vehicle for this being regular communication meetings and a 'Suggestions board'. Each application for employment within our production team must successfully complete our induction training programme before an offer of employment is issued. Once onboard we have a training and development programme which has helped the company achieve the Investors standard. |

All employees attend a training course which was developed by our Quality Assurance department, this is backed up with regular spot checks to test for product and quality awareness. Training is linked to the NVQ 'Performing manufacturing operations' certificate, and a high proportion of the production team have achieved this award.

A skills matrix is maintained and displayed, and forms the baseline for individual personal development and performance reviews (PDPR). Cablescan is an 'Investors in People' company. |
