VG 96927-2:2020-06 Approval

Cablescan are pleased to announce that we are now approved to VG 96927-2. This approval was awarded by the German Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies (VDE - Verband der Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Informationstechnik)
This allows Cablescan to manufacture Electrical Harnesses for the German military sector.
The VG standards contain technical and technical-economic requirements for articles and procedures within the German defence sector. These standards are designed by experts from the defence sector in cooperation with industry representatives.
To achieve this approval, representatives from The VDE Testing and Certification Institute carried out an onsite quality audit. Then we submitted a number of Cable Harnesses which were subjected to a number of laboratory tests to ensure full compliance to this standard.

To enable Cablescan to supply Electrical wiring harnesses to German Military programmes we are certified to VG 96927-2.
